Photo: JULIANA ROSKAM Last month Kapi-Mana News reported sting- ray sightings in Aotea Lagoon, but the elegant creatures were proving too elusive for cameras. We asked readers to send in pictures if they were able to spot and snap a stingray at the Lagoon, and they have. Juliana Roskam photographed a stringray by the bridge near the windmill on March 7, while Jack Weinstein was fortunate to get up close and personal with one on April 10. Joni Heard also provided us with pictures of a stingray at Plimmerton Beach.
