North City Shopping Centre has been buzz- ing during its 13th annual talent search during the school holidays. More than 130 acts have signed up for 19 junior and senior heats. We've got dancing . . . jazz, hip hop, a yoyoer, ukulele, Chinese zither, all kinds of things,'' said organiser Caroline Shearman- York. Semi-finals take place on the shopping centre stage at 11am and 1.30pm on Thur- sday and Friday. The finals will be held on Saturday, July 27, with the juniors at 1.30pm and the seniors at 3.30pm.
