Ora Toa Mauriora is a Kaupapa Maori Service that
provides counselling and support for whanau or
individuals with Alcohol and Drug, Problem Gambling
and Mental Health issues.
We are currently looking to employ a permanent,
full time administrator for our Porirua office. This is
a key frontline role and requires you to provide office
support to a small team with the flexibility to work
amongst a larger team at times. This is a challenging role
and requires someone who can relate well to a diverse
range of people. You may be required to work across a
number of sites.
You will possess the following attributes:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in report writing is advantageous
• Good level of Tikanga and Te Reo Maori
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office,
email and internet systems
• Knowledge of Excel, Primhd and Medtech

Navigation Service team, to influence positive health change

You will have experience in working with Pacific fanau,
understanding Pacific views to influence better health for
Pacific patients, fanau, and community.
You will have established networks and successful partnerships
with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders,
especially within Pacific communities.
You will have exceptional communication skills and be able to
work with a wide range of people in a variety of settings.
You will have experience in the health sector, including
working with a clinical workforce.
You will be working towards or gained a qualification in a
National certificate in Health, Disability and Aged Support or
You will have clean full current driver's licence.
